Size: 8″ tall

Materials:

• Plymouth Yarn Jeannee Worsted medium (worsted) weight yarn (110 yds/ 50g per ball): 2 balls #5 brown; 1 ball #16 light green
• Size F/5/3.75mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

Dog
Head

Rnd 1: Starting at top of Head with brown, ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each of next 3 chs, 3 sc in last ch, working on opposite side of foundation ch, sc in each of next 3 chs, 2 sc in same ch as first sc, place stitch marker to mark rnds (12 sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in first sc, sc in each of next 3 sc, 2 sc in each of next 3 sc, sc in each of next 3 sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc. (18 sc)

Rnd 36: [Sc dec in next 2 sc] around, sl st in next st. Leaving 6-inch length, fasten off. (6 sc) Weave rem length through sts, draw opening closed, knot to secure. Fasten off.

Arm
Make 2
Rnd 1: With brown, ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each of next 3 chs, 3sc in last ch, working on opposite side of foundation ch, sc in each of next 3 chs, 2sc in same ch as first sc place stitch marker to mark rnds. (12 sc)
Rnds 2-9: Sc  in each sc around. At the end of rnd 9, fasten off.
Stuff Arm with fiberfill. Form paws by sewing through all thicknesses at hand end 3 rnds up and going over tip of hand, draw sts tightly twice to shape 3 paws.
Leg
Make 2
Rnd 1: Rep rnd 1 of Arm (12sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in first sc, sc in each of next 3 sc, 2sc in each of next 3 sc, sc in each of next 3 sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc. (18 sc)
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.
Rnds 4&5: Rep rnd 3
Rnd 6: [Sc in next sc, sc dec in next 2 sc] around. (12 sc)
Rnd s 7-10: Rep rnd 3.
At the end of rnd 10, fasten off.
Stuff leg with fiberfill. Form paws by sewing through all thicknesses at foot end 3 rnds up and going over tip of foot, draw sts tightly twice to shape 3 paws.

Ear
Make 2
Rnd 1: With brown, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, place stitch marker to mark rnds. (6 s)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 4:[Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] around. (18 sc)
Rnds 5-8: Rep rnd 3
Rnd 9: [Sc in next sc, sc dec in next 2 sc] around (12 sc)
Rnd 10-14: Rep rnd 3. Do not stuff Ears, fold rnd 14 flat across and sew in place.
Snout
Rnd 1: With brown, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, place stitch marker to mark rnds, (6sc)
Rnd 2: [Sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc] around (8 sc)
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.

Mouth Bottom
Rnd 1: With brown, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, place stitch marker to mark rnds. (6 sc)

Rnds 3&4: Sc in each sc around. At the end of rnd 4, fasten off.
Sew centered under Snout.
Facial Features
With red pearl cotton, embroider tongue in satin stitch. With black pearl cotton, sew nose and eyes with straight stitches.
Tail
Rnd 1: With brown, ch 2, 6 sc, sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 sc)
Rnd 2: [Sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc] around (8 sc)
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around
Rnd 4: [Sc in each of next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc] around (10 sc)
Rnd 5-9: Sc in each sc around, stuffing with fiberfill as work progresses. At the end of last rep, fasten off. Sew opening flat across, sew Tail in place.
Sweater
Turtleneck
Make 2
Row 1: With light green, ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each rem ch across, turn. (6 sc)
Rows 2-14: CH 1, working in back lps, sc in each st across, turn. At the end of row 14, do not fasten off.
Sweater Body
Row 1: CH 1, working in ends of work, sc in each of each of next 14 rows, turn (18 sc)
Row 2:  Ch 1, 2sc in each of next 2sc, sc in each of next 10 sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, turn. (18 sc)
Row 3: CH 1, sc in each sc across, turn.
Row 4: Sl st in each of next 2 sc, ch 1, sc in each of next 14 sc, leaving rem 2 sc unworked, turn (14 sc)
Row 5-10: Rep row 3. At the end of row 10, fasten off.
Sew ends of rows tog from bottom edge up 4 rows, sew ends of turtleneck and through row  3 on each side of Sweater Body. Place Sweater on Dog and turn turtleneck down.
