Bridesmaid Bunny

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn: 6 oz off-white, 1 1/2 oz light blue, scraps medium blue and rasberry
• Crochet hook size F/5 or size needed to obtain gauge
• 6 x 36-inches piece of light blue netting
• 1 1/2 yds of 1 3/8-inch-wide sheer blue ribbon
• 1 yd of 1/8-inch-wide blue ribbon
• 1 bunch blue ribbon roses
• 3 white 1/2-inch ribbon roses
• 4 light blue ribbon roses
• Fiberfill
• Sewing needle and thread
• Tacky glue
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:
9 sc = 2 inches; 5 rows = 1 inch.

ARM (Make 2)
 Rnd 1: With off-white, ch 2 , 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)

Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5: Rep Rnd 4.
Rnd 6: [2 sc in next sc] 3 times (thumb), sc in each rem sc around. (21 sc)
Rnd 7: Rep Rnd 4.
Rnd 8: [Sc dec over next 2 sc] 3 times, sc in each rem sec around. (16 sc)
Rnd 9: [Sc dec over next n2sc] twice, sc in each rem sc around. (16 sc)
Rnd 10-24: Rep Rnd 4. At the end of Rnd 24, sl st in next st, leaving a length of yarn, fasten off. Stuff arm firmly with fiberfill, flatten top and sew opening closed, with thumb pointing upward, sew to side of body.

LEG (MAKE 2)

Rnd 1: With off-white, ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each of next 7 chs, 3sc in last ch, working on opposite side of foundation ch, sc in each of next 7 chs, 2 sc in same ch as beg sc. (20 sc)
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in first st, sc in each of next 7 sts, 2hdc in each of next 3 sts (toe shaping), sc in each of next 7 sts, 2 sc in each of next 2 sts. (26sc)
Rnd 3: Work 2 sc in first sc, sc in each of next 10 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 3 sts, sc in each of next 10 sts, 2 sc in each of last 2 sts, (32 sc)
Rnd 4: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 5: Sc in each ofnext 11 sts, [sc dec over next 2 sts] 3 times, sc in each of next 14 sts. (29 sc)
Rnd 6: Sc in each of next 11 sts, [sc dec over next 2 sts] 3 times, sc in each of next 12 sts. (26 sc)
Rnd 7: Sc in each of next 10 sts, [sc dec over next 2 sts] 3 times, sc in each of next 10 sts. (23 sc)
Rnd 8: Rep rnd 4.
Rnd 9: Sc in each of next 9 sts, [sc dec over next 2 sts] 3 times, sc in each of next 8 sts. (20 sc)
Rnd 10-14: Rep Rnd 4. Stuff foot firmly with fiberfill.
Rnds 15-30: Rep Rnd 4. At the end of Rnd 30, sl st in next st, leaving a length of yarn, fasten off.
Stuff leg with fiberfill. Flatten top, sew opening closed and with toes pointing upward, sew leg to bottom of body.


EAR (MAKE 2)

Rnds 1-3: With off-white, rep RNds 1-3 of arm. (18 sc)
Rnds 4-37:  Sc in each sc around. At the end of Rnd 37, sl st in next st, leaving a length of yarn, fasten off.
Flatten Rnd 37 of ear, fold Rnd 37 in half and sew to top of head.

FACIAL FEATURES
EYES
With medium blue, embroider eyes in satin stitch over Rnds 10 and 11 of head, 1 1/2 inches apart.

NOSE
With raspberry yarn, embroider nose in satin stitch between Rnds 13 and 14.

SKIRT
Row 1: With light blue, leaving a 6-inch length at beg, ch 50, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each rem ch across, turn. (49 sc)
Rows 2 & 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.
Row 4 (RS): Beg shell in first sc, [sk next sc, dc in next sc, sk next sc,  shell in next sc] rep across, turn. (13 shells)
Row 5: Beg shell in ch-2 sp, [bpdc around post of single dc between shells, shell in ch-2 sp of next shell rep across, turn.
Row 6: Beg shell in ch-2 sp of shell, [fpdc around bpdc, shell in ch-2 sp of next shell] rep across, turn.
Row 7: Beg shell in ch-2 sp of shell, [bpdc around fpdc, shell in ch-2 sp of shell] rep across, turn.
Rows 8-11: Rep Rows 6 & 7
Row 12: Rep Row 6, fasten off. Place skirt on bunny with Row 1 at wasitline, overlap at back 1 inch and sew Rows 1-3 tog.

HAT
Rnds 1-4: With light blue, rep RNds 1-4 of head and body. (24 sc)
At the end of RNd 4, sl st in next sc.
Rnd 5: Ch 2, 2 hdc in same st as beg ch-2, sk next sc, sl st in next sc, [ 3 hdc in next sc, sl st to join in top of beg ch-2, fasten off. ( 8 groups 3-hdc)
Sew hat to top of head.
